Research: Norman Foster
Today I will talk about Norman Foster and wite what I have found about him.
Norman Foster founded the practice in 1967, and over five decades he has established a sustainable approach to the design of the built environment.
He believe that the quality of our life if it is good well be in our nature, and he continue his passion to develop his ideas to be special in this area. He is also president of the Norman Foster Foundation, based in Madrid. In 1999, he was honoured by The Queen with a life peerage, taking the title Lord Foster of Thames Bank. Norman is a keen pilot, enjoys cross-country skiing and cycling.
one of his famous building in my country that residential building and mall it is called Al Faisaliah Centre that was the famous for the shapes and the top view in the ball that have big restaurant and sky view in Riyadh city.
The 240,000-square-metre Al Faisaliah Complex features Saudi Arabia's first skyscraper, a 267-metre-high office tower, a five-star hotel, a banqueting and conference centre, luxury apartments, and a three-storey retail mall. The scheme balances cost-effectiveness and flexibility to create efficient buildings that are also responsive to the Middle Eastern climate.
