Project development: Elevations Sketches Part 1
Today’s blog will be about how I developed my project and sketches of some elevations of my beach house project.
In the
picture below you will notice of how I worked on my sketches
First of
all, I drew my project, then I used the watercolor to illustrate the materials
that I will use in exterior.
As it shows
the processes of my sketches below by steps from black and white, and the
result in colors, and that is my work for Right-side Elevations.
For the materials
in Blue it’s a sign for windows glass, and the beige colour for the external
interface, and last thing was in Grey it’s the clear glass fence.
The second
step I took was on the front side of the house, and also the same processes of
colours. However, I tried to clarification all the details of the front side of
the house, for example, wood panels for shaded seating area on the second floor,
and the glass windows for second floor.
For the materials
in Blue it’s a sign for windows glass, and the beige colour for the external
interface, and in Grey it’s the clear glass fence, and the Brown it’s the wood
panels from cedar wood.
And the pictures below show my work.
As you can see in all the elevations, I worked hard to make
the windows are large because natural light always gives the place different energy,
rather than a place have small windows, in my opinion. I always like the place
the sun come inside the place I am sitting in. furthermore; my project will be
in the beach I would like to see the beach all the time when I will be in the
house.
Take a bit more time over and edit this post - say a bit more about what you were trying to do in terms of the structure - the importance of light to the interior and how that effected your design for the exterior. Mention how you think these sketches show development in your work from your initial ideas.
